| 11:30am | Theatre de la LibertéBegun in 2001 after performing an improvisational dinner called, "Cooking the Gold" in Barcelona, Spain, the group has profiled itself as an open platform for the exploration of the old stories and improvised its own way as new folk theatre. Theatre de la Liberté uses any tool, object, instrument, landscape or language to help expand the theme. Its motion goes from life into the theatre and backwards. Theatre de la Liberté has three branches: Prague, Czech Republic (Homebase), San Francisco (Golden Heart Chambre), and Caspar (Field Office). For CasparFest all three branches unite, including guest musician and co-operator Vratislav Brabenec of The Plastic People of the Universe Band. They will be playing for you and with you the fairytale "Bird Firebird and Fox Cherryfox." The show is dedicated to all who were imprisoned for singing their songs. |
